I have upped my workout routine to 45 minutes rather than 30 to see if it helps with my plateau. Plus, I just think it’s time for me to up my routine anyway. Usually when I jog through the park, it takes about 45 minutes. But gym time was usually 30-minutes of cardio and then weight lifting. This week I’ve started doing 45 minutes of cardio and lifting weights. It felt awesome yesterday when I ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes, walked for another 10 and then did the elliptical machine for 10 minutes. I am doing everything possible to get my weight to head downward, so alas, I have to just push through this plateau and be patient. I’m going to Dr. Champion this Thursday so I’ll see what he says.
On another note, things in my life are on the total up and up and I am excited! I start a brand new job tomorrow and I am so excited about it. I will be the Speakers Bureau Coordinator with the High Museum of Art. I’ll say it again – I AM WORKING AT THE HIGH MUSEUM OF ART!!! I am so … so … so … excited! This is going to be the perfect Win/Win for me – I get to be on the PR team for an amazing visual arts institution. With this new job will come a new schedule. And a new schedule means new eating times and workout times. I’m a little anxious about the change, but I am more excited than anything!
Congratulations on the new job!!!!
