I’m on my way to Los Angeles!
This weekend I am seeing my sister and brother-in-law who live in the City of Angels. I haven’t seen my sister since she began showing her pregnancy – she is currently at around 6 month! And she hasn’t seen ME since I’ve lost nearly 50 pounds! It will be a funny reunion. My sister and I are super close, and I hate that she lives so far away, but we talk weekly and distance hasn’t phased us much. I guess because she went away to college to Vanderbilt…then moved to NYC…then to Los Angeles. So, in all actuality, we’ve been “long distance” for nearly 10 years. But now that she is expecting her first baby, it will be a whole new experience!
Anyway, I’m super excited for her to see me in my new jeans and just to see how I’ve changed physically. It’ll be a super fun weekend. We’ll probably shop for Maternity clothes for her, and smaller jeans for me – how perfect! My sister has always been petite, and of course she’s totally one of those adorable pregnant people, but I am secretly excited (being the baby sister) that she is actually being TOLD to gain weight. It’s just so freaking ironic.
Anyway, I’ll be taking pictures. My iPhoto is all jacked up, this is why I haven’t had pictures on my site. I’m not holding out for some BIG REVEAL like they do on those shows where I’ll come punching through a giant sized photo of my “before” self screaming, “WHOOOOOO!” Although, this would be fun to set up in my 700 square foot apartment. I’m sure my gaybors (gay-neighbors) wouldn’t mind. I love Scott and Sam.
Okay, back to packing. Los Angeles here I come!
