I Eat Success For Breakfast. With Skim Milk.

This is a fun clip from one of my favorite movies “Heavyweights.” Made in 1995. Ben Stiller at his best. You can definitely tell that his character Tony Perkis, the exercise nut, is really the same character he played in “Dodgeball.”

“Attention campers. Lunch has been canceled today due to lack of hustle. Deal with it.”

It’s 2AM. That’s right. 2AM. In the morning. I just got back from the gym. I’ve become sort of like a machine. A fighting machine! Like Ben Stiller! They asked me to star in the new Jet Li/Jackie Chan movie, but I told them I didn’t want to wear a kimono.

NSV is weight loss surgery lingo for “Non Scale Victory.” Now that I’m down a significant amount of weight, I’m going to share a few with you.

1. I can now wear size medium shirts rather than large. I wear a lot of men’s designer t-shirts (b/c I often find them cooler than girls’ shirts), and I’ve always worn Large. Now – I’m in Mediums! I probably could go smaller if it weren’t for my boobs, but I guess I shouldn’t complain about my girls. They’re quite a nice attribute so I’ve been told ;-)

2. I signed up to go on a rock climbing trip this month! I’ve never been rock climbing and I am so excited. I have no idea how far up the rock I’ll get, but I guess every little step will be a NSV in and of itself! I’ll take pictures! If any of you have rock climbing tips for me, let me know. It’s REAL rock climbing – none of that fake wall stuff.

3. I also signed up to play a charity dodgeball tournament this month. I’m super excited. Just picture Ben Stiller in the movie. How can you not? The funny thing is that the winners get a year of free Chic-Fil-A. Haha, go figure. And if you know me, you know that I LOVE CHIC-FIL-A. But, alas, if we win, maybe I’ll sell my earnings on Ebay!

4. People are starting to definitely notice a physical (and mental) change in me. I went to visit Kate at work the other day, and one of her Co-workers couldn’t believe how I looked. She said my stomach was flat. FLAT! Who would have thought! And I went to a store today and the employee at the store noticed how good I looked.

That’s it for now. Just wanted to thank everybody for their never-ending loving kindness & support.

These NSV’s make all the difference. Because…it’s not all about what the scale says.

Hey Kathryn, when do u wanna go on another walk to Arden’s Garden?

I like the NSV! That’s really fun :) If we win in dodgeball, I might buy your free chick-fil-a! Or take a cue from you and eat healthy. I’m up for Arden’s Garden soon.
